Spencer was born and raised in Saskatoon. After earning a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the University of Calgary, he returned to Saskatoon to study at the University of Saskatchewan, earning a master’s degree in international trade. Spencer then moved to Ottawa, where he earned his law degree from the University of Ottawa.
Spencer is passionate about helping those who have been injured seek compensation and vindication. Prior to joining The Barrister Group, Spencer practiced insurance defence law. He now draws on his prior experience representing insurance companies to obtain optimal results for his clients.
Spencer is involved with several charitable and civil service groups. He sits on the board of Epilepsy Saskatoon and is also a member of The Saskatoon Usadians Executives Association business club.
When he is not working, Spencer enjoys spending time with his wife Ashley and rescue dog Betty, playing guitar in a band, reading, and spending time at Waskesiu Lake.
